suddenly had the flash played in my head of mi sailing out in the mysterious deep blue sea in a large 'pirate' ship...the steering and the pace at which we reach the destination depends solely on my decision...nothing clear cut is ahead...i can see no boundaries ...yet i noe i hav to do whatever i can to ensure my survival and the safety of my crew...
'pirate' ship = my knowledge, physical, mental self, ATTITUDES...
destination = lend efficient n effective helping hand to all the ppl who needed help
my crew = clients, health professionals, my fellow OT mates...resources...
frm the talk... it assured mi that OT journey is a neverending learning n self upgrading journey...the oni thing i have to fall on n also the oni thing i have to brush up on n improve on in order to bring myself further into the profession n relish my passion to the fullest is my 'pirate' ship....it's the one that enables mi to communicate n link up with my crew... the one that follows my decisions...where it steers follows my heart....wat i discover n recover...follows my heart too... thus...it is the improvement n researching n 'digging' of all the available resources to enhance my steering n the pacing decided that enables the destination to be reached.....
nothing ahead is clear...but if i were to stay forever in the midst of the sea n never strive to improve that will cause the ship to drift aimlessly....eventually destroyed...nothing solved...nothing discovered....nothing seen....destination unrevealed.....
